Advocate approach to taxes provides long-term benefits
When it comes to preparing tax returns, there are two kinds of CPAs: Enforcers and Advocates. Both know the tax laws inside and out. The difference is in their perspective. The Enforcers, whether intentionally or not, act as if their job is to represent the tax laws. They start with the laws and then assess how their client’s organization fits in.
At KDV, we’re Advocate CPAs. Our job is to represent you. So we start with your organization and figure out how the tax laws apply to you. We find ways to reduce your taxes for the current year and help with long-term tax planning, too.
You also gain the benefit of our 60 years of experience working with privately held companies, cities, schools and nonprofit organizations. For an example of how we share best practices for specific industries, see Tips on Lowering Taxes for privately held businesses or 990 Filing for nonprofits.
To aid with your tax preparation, KDV has several documents available. Please use these documents as references. If you would like additional assistance or would like KDV to mail you a copy of these documents, please call our offices.
