The Kern, DeWenter, Viere, Ltd. (KDV) code of conduct covers all aspects of employee conduct including client confidentiality. It is our policy to treat all client related affairs in strict confidence. This includes client conversations, correspondence and records, both electronic and paper.
In order to provide excellent customer service, KDV and its affiliates, (KDV Wealth Management, LLC and KDV Technology and Consulting, Inc.), operate as one entity as it relates to client data privacy. To ensure we provide timely and efficient service, we will share client information among our KDV entities, as necessary. This will allow client information to seamlessly flow to the necessary contact at KDV. KDV does not disclose client information to any third party without the express, written consent of the client. We do not provide client lists to other organizations.
KDV utilizes industry standard technology to safeguard the integrity of its data and prevent unauthorized access to the information it maintains; technology that includes secure authentication, advanced firewall systems, anti-virus, monitoring and auditing. Security measures have been built into the design, implementation and day-to-day practices of the entire operating environment as a part of our continuing commitment to risk management. These measures are designed and intended to prevent corruption of data, block unknown or unauthorized access to our systems and information, as well as provide reasonable protection of the private information we possess.
Privacy is important to us. At KDV, we are committed to our client’s privacy and retaining their trust. We respect their right to keep their information confidential and to avoid unwanted solicitations.
