SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Internal Accounting Specialist does internal support work (KDV Ltd, Wealth Management & KDV Tech) as well as external client work. This position is responsible for processing deposits, posting of time, accounts payable, billing, G/L reconciliation, monthly bank recs, payroll, KDV client data entry and general ledgers, and other misc general accounting and reporting duties. Position will also update miscellaneous schedules and reports to and assists the KDV Controller and others with various projects as required for all service groups of the organization.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES:
A.Payroll
1.Process bi-weekly payrolls and maintain employee records in payroll
2.Maintain employee time benefits reporting
3.Approve and process employee and partner expense reports
4.Post bi-weekly employee 401K elective deferral contributions
5.Produce bi-weekly payroll journal entries
6.Generate quarterly Wage Reports
7.Generate W-2’s annually and as needed
B.Daily Deposit
1.Post payments and reconcile
2.Produce supporting schedules
3.Produce bank deposit and deliver to bank
4 Process credit card transactions
C.Daily Time Posting – may eliminate
1.Update ‘Time and Billing’ as required (daily/weekly)
2.Monitor completeness
3.Produce supporting schedules as requested
D.Accounts Payable
1.Code invoices and record appropriately
2.Obtain approval for invoice payment when required
3.Issue computerized and manual checks as required
4.Produce supporting schedules, file and mail
5.Research A/P issues
6.Produce annual 1099’s and monthly/quarterly sales tax schedules and file returns
E.Billing
1.Produce bills as required
2.Produce supporting schedules
3.Finalize bills and mail
F.Monthly Reports and Schedules
1.Update and maintain required schedules (Ex.: monthly, random)
G.IT Dept. (external client a/p and general ledgers)
1.Data enter information to update KDV client general ledgers and supporting documentation
H.Miscellaneous
1.Act as delegate to Privacy Officer, under HIPAA, for flex benefit plan
2.Performing such other related duties as may be necessary including word and excel

Education/Experience: AA Accounting Degree
1-2 years general accounting experience
Drivers License: N/A
Hourly Requirement: 40 hours on average some extra time required during peak periods: Ex: End of year, tax season
Skills Required:
PC literate
Basic software applications Ex: Word, Excel, Internet, etc.
Operate office machines such as 10 key calculator, fax, copier, etc.
Verbal and written communication skills

SUMMARY OF RESPONSIBILITIES
The Seasonal Administrative Assistant is responsible for the processing of client tax returns and financial statements as well as general office duties as assigned. This includes binding, copying and filing of various confidential tax returns, audit reports and financial data.
WORK HOURS
•10:00 - 2:00 M-F
•Saturday rotational shift
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
1.Copy and bind tax returns, financial statements and other miscellaneous documents.
2.Maintain client filing system including new files.
3.Distribute incoming faxes.
4.Perform miscellaneous errands and duties as part of support team as assigned.
5.Utilizes office machines such as copier, scanner and fax machine.
6.Distribute office supplies, paper, etc. to designated location.
7.Assist in maintaining conference rooms – keep clean and stocked with supplies.
8.Stamp, sort and prepare mail.
BACK-UP RESPONSIBILITIES
Performs assigned duties of Communications Attendant on a back-up basis i.e., processes telephone calls and greets clients in a professional and business like manner and direct them to an appropriate person.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
•High School graduate
•2 + years education/experience in administration

PC literate – Intermediate level, Operate office machines such as fax, copier, scanner
